The European Commission has recently launched an improved and updated version of the “De-risking Energy Efficiency Platform” (DEEP). Called DEEP 2.0, this is an open-source database for monitoring and benchmarking energy efficiency investment performance. It aims to help users to better understand the real risk and benefits of energy efficiency investments based on market evidence and tangible track records. The database currently includes over 17 000 energy efficiency projects from 30 data providers.
On 14 September, DG Energy will organise a dedicated webinar to provide existing and new users and data contributors with more details and answer questions. The webinar will provide an introduction to the DEEP platform, highlight new features in DEEP 2.0, and illustrate use cases for investment benchmarking and risk analysis, followed by a Q&A session and discussion of the opportunities for data contribution.
The seminar targets members of the Energy Efficiency Financial Institutions Group (EFFIG) and other interested stakeholders with a special emphasis on Financial Institutions.
